Marlon Castro was recently diagnosed with cancer and to the unexpected shock of the community he passed away this morning Friday, January 27, 2012. Marlon leaves behind a loving wife and two children.

The San Pedro Cancer Society is gearing up for its 2nd annual "Light the Night" world cancer awareness walk on Saturday, February 4th, 2012. at 6:00pm sharp, Central Park. The deadline for ordering and paying shirts ($20.00 bze each) will be on Thursday, January 26, 2012, so that they are all printed and distributed before the walk.

The students made a small contribution of 50 cents to place their hand print along with their signature on a white piece of cloth.

Holy Cross Anglican School held a Health Fair on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the School Compound. The Health Fair consisted of minor skin surgeries, dental check up (by the Belize Mission Project), check up on minor medical ailments, diabateses testing and blood pressure testing, among others. It was a fun and educational event for all the school and students.
